OK, I've signed up - now what?
Once the teams are determined on Selection Sunday, March 15, 2009, you will be able to make your picks and enter your tiebreaker entry. We will send an e-mail to all registered players once the teams have been determined and entered into the system. Please note that due to potential problems with e-mail (spam filters, server errors, etc.) that we cannot guarantee delivery of all messages. Therefore you should remember to come back once the teams have been selected and make your entries.

Until then, feel free to post messages on the Message Board and don't forget to let your friends and co-workers know by using our Refer-A-Friend feature.

How do I make my picks?
You cannot make any picks until the teams scheduled to play in the tournament have been determined (on Selection Sunday, March 15, 2009). Once the teams are determined, log into the game site by going to www.buffalowildwings.com and clicking on the Bracket Challenge link. Log into the game site using your User Name and Password. Click on the View My Picks link and you will be presented with a flash entry screen (Macromedia Flash Plugin is required and is available at www.macromedia.com).

Simply click on the name of the team you feel will win each game down into the next round. Continue to click the names through the bracket until all slots are filled.

To change to the other bracket regions (East, West, South, Midwest, and Championship), click on the Menu and choose 1 - 5 for the various regions.

DON'T FORGET to make an entry for the Championship Round (menu option 5) and enter your tiebreaker entry as well.

Can I change my picks?
Yes. Changes can be made up until the scheduled tip off time of the first game of the tournament. Once the scheduled tip off time passes, no changes will be allowed to your entries.

What about the tie-breaker points entry. Is it the combined points for both teams?
Yes. Tie-breaker points are the total amount of points scored by both teams in the National Championship game. These points will be used in determining ranks at the end of the contest in the event of any ties. Please see the Official Rules for more information.

What is a "picklist name"?
The pick list name is simply the name that will appear in the Rankings Page once the games begin. We encourage you to be creative but ask that you remember that this is a public site so please name your pick list accordingly.

Can I get a printout of my picks?
Yes. After you have saved a complete entry (all games having a winner and a tiebreaker entry) you can print your results using the Print Your Picks option.

Once the games start, can I view my results?
Yes. Results will be available as games are completed. You can use the View My Picks option to see which teams won their respective games and correct entries will be displayed in green. Incorrect selections will appear in red.

How do I let my friends know about the Buffalo Wild Wings Bracket Challenge?
Great question. Simply use our Refer-A-Friend option to let all your friends, co-workers and family members get in on the action. Send one or several messages at a time using "cut and paste" of your e-mail addresses.

What scoring method is used?
Points are accumulated based upon correctly picking the winning team in each round. Points are awarded as follows:
Round 1: 1 point for every correct pick
Round 2: 2 points for every correct pick
Round 3: 4 points for every correct pick
Round 4: 8 points for every correct pick
Round 5: 16 points for every correct pick
Round 6: 32 points for every correct pick

Will each store award prizes?
The 2009 Buffalo Wild Wings Bracket Challenge is a national contest with the prizes going to the overall top ranking participants. Some locations may offer additional prizes for the participants in the location. Please check with your local Buffalo Wild Wings Store Manager for more details.

The rankings page shows I have x wins and x losses but I really have.....?
The View Results page shows the number of wins, losses, and points based upon both completed AND active games. Therefore, the results on this page will continue to change as the lead in each game changes. However, when you click on a specific pick list, it only shows the results for completed games.
